While Nanoretinol® is generally compatible with other skincare products, it's important to be aware of certain ingredients that may interact with it. Avoid using Nanoretinol® simultaneously with benzoyl peroxide, as it can oxidize retinoids and reduce their effectiveness. Similarly, alpha and beta hydroxy acids (AHAs and BHAs), such as glycolic acid, lactic acid, and salicylic acid, can increase skin sensitivity and may cause irritation when used with retinoids.
Vitamin C, while beneficial for the skin, is best used at a different time of day than retinoids. Typically, Vitamin C is most effective in the morning, while retinoids, including Nanoretinol®, are recommended for nighttime use.
Lastly, avoid using physical and chemical exfoliants while using retinoids, as this can lead to over-exfoliation, causing dryness, redness, and irritation.
